Community Working Together!
It is a crucial goal of our organization that Salem businesses who offer an unusual, unique, entertaining, or even haunted perspective a voice in the direction that Salem tourism takes, and in the way that we are presented to the world. Salem, Massachusetts is an enchanting place that draws hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the world seeking an experience both historical and paranormal, both entertaining and educational. To provide our visitors with a quality experience requires strong collaboration, cooperation, and a willingness to get things done.

It is our plan to present exciting promotional projects on which participants are encouraged to participate on a project by project basis, according to their own business’ needs. In this way, funds are spent only on projects that a particular business feels strongly about. Each voice on a project is equal, and the focus is on the work to be done.

As part of our commitment to Salem as a “haunted” destination, every business listing, web link, and calendar event listing is free. We feel that businesses in Salem spend enough money towards promoting Salem without having to pay for what is, for us, is effortless and enjoyable. Our only requirements are that a business, event, or Web site represent Salem as haunted, spooky, Witchy, or explore the Witch Trials of 1692. Restaurants and lodging are exempt from this requirement.

It is our hope that businesses and organizations who have previously not participated in community based promotional efforts will feel re-invigorated and come to believe, as we do, that Salem is a place worth telling people about.
